How we handle your data

This is a neighborhood campaign for Millbrae City Council, District 4. We collect as little as we can, and we do not sell, rent, or trade any of it.

Analytics

If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to count page visits and see which pages neighbors find useful. That is the whole purpose. We have turned off Google Signals and ad personalization, so your visit is not fed into any advertising profile. If you decline, Google still receives an anonymous, cookieless ping that lets us count the visit without identifying you.

Our host, Netlify, also keeps standard server logs of traffic. Those contain no cookies and are not tied to your identity.

If you sign up or write to us

Your name, email, and phone are used to send you campaign updates and to follow up on how you offered to help. We do not share the list with other campaigns, committees, or vendors. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also simply reply and ask us to take you off.

Contributions

California law requires campaigns to publicly report the name, address, occupation, and employer of anyone contributing $100 or more. That disclosure is a legal obligation, not a choice we make, and those filings become public record.

Your choices

You can change your cookie decision at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an automatic opt-out and never show you the banner. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email bob@bob4millbrae.com.
